An exhibition by Sarah Bos

This exhibition is a deeply personal exploration through expressive still life oil paintings, where everyday perishable objects,  are arranged in symbolic family groupings. These intimate compositions reflect themes of connection, care, belonging, and the quiet strength of individuality—echoing the emotional landscapes of family life.
Alongside them, ethereal landscapes and seascapes offer gentle, dreamlike visions of nature, inviting moments of reflection and calm.
Together, these works form a tender meditation on memory, intimacy, and the emotional resonance found in both the familiar and the vast.

Artist Statement

"These paintings are rooted in my reflections on home, family, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. I’m drawn to the way ordinary objects can carry emotional weight—how a simple arrangement can speak to relationships, identity, and memory. The landscapes and seascapes are my way of reaching beyond the domestic, into spaces that feel timeless and expansive. Through this work, I hope to offer viewers a sense of connection—to themselves, to others, and to the environments that shape us."
